update
So since no one has written on here for a while I thought I'd blog a little blurb (like that mom?) about us even though I frequently talk to most of you (especially spencer lately, which totally makes up for the time I've neglected you, I'm sure).
And he shall be named…. ?ayson Aaron. With a “c” or a “k”. The spelling is still to be determined since I like “c” and Aaron likes “k”. Although Aaron has already informed me that I can choose how to spell it but I’m still a little undecided. But at least we have the rest of the name down. Since there are a plethora (that's for you meg) of ways to spell that name apparently.
So I went to my dr.’s appt. last Friday and as I’m sure you already know, baby ?ayson is no longer breech! Really exciting! Well, actually now that we’ve been to our childbirth classes I’m not so sure what I’d prefer. We learned about both c-section and vaginal births and either way they both seem like they could be totally smooth or total death (of course meaning you just say “ouch”). I guess there’s still a chance baby T could turn back by himself but the dr. said that’s rare.
So we are less than 3 weeks away if he’s on time. But at this point I’d be totally fine if he decides to come late. We need all the time we can get to prepare, organize, shop, practice breathing, saying “ouch” and “you did this to me!”, and cleaning, etc. Of course now that I’m saying this he’ll come early. But I’m still praying he won’t. Especially since I’m filling in for my boss the week before I have the baby so it could potentially be really hazardous for my work if I were to have him early. They would be left extremely short handed. Oh well, I won’t be worrying about that anyway I’m sure.
So I finally hit a milestone that I’ve been waiting for. I can no longer reach forward in the car to pick things up off the floor in front of my seat. It’s physically impossible for me to bend down and get them. Cool huh?! And I can’t get out of the car on my own if I’m holding anything. It’s like I’m really prego! I realize I have been really prego for months now but some things just don’t seem real until you experience the extreme effects of it. If that makes sense. And since I’ve really enjoyed being pregnant I’ve looked forward to and enjoy these new things.
Oh and you should ask Aaron about his hospital labor and delivery bed experience. Lucky guy, he got to try it out at our childbirth class!
So other than a baby coming in to our lives soon, we really have nothing else going on. Or at least everything else is getting pushed out of focus so we can be ready. We got the stroller and car seat last Monday and that was fun to pull out and set up. It definitely seems more real now that we are getting all the baby stuff. Anyway, that’s about it for us. We’ll keep you posted on his arrival! Love you all!

Wedding Pictures
Hello everyone. I just posted a very long, time consuming post on my blog. Mom wants all of you to be able to see pictures of the wedding, but I don't want to re-post everything here. So you can see pictures of the wedding and of Amy's first prom on my blog

Engagement pics!

Here's just a couple samples. It takes forever to upload pics so I might just do a couple more. She took 250. Gulp. The middle one I just look like I'm bad motha, but the photographer also liked it and stuck her label on it so we felt pretty special. She did that with 2 or 3 and put a couple on her website.

Unexpected Inspiration
Today as I came into work my other 2 coworkers left leaving me alone for the next hour, which is sometimes preferable because it’s nice and quiet and good to have some alone time once in a while. Anyway when I got here there was only one tester in the room (it’s pretty slow this time of year). I noticed he was older but couldn’t really tell how old. When he was done he came out and I figured he was probably in his 70’s and he had oxygen with him-like Laura had. I always feel sympathy for those who have that since I saw what it was like for Laura and the effort it takes to haul it around with you everywhere.
Anyway the guy got done and we somehow got on the subject of why he was in school at his age. He told me when he was college age he’d taken some college but b/c of circumstances he wasn’t able to graduate but had gone on to be successful and had learned what he needed to in his field. A few years ago he was listening to a BYU devotional where Pres. Hinckley was speaking about education. Of course Pres. Hinckley talked about how you’re never too old to pursue learning and education. The guy told me that this talk along with a prayer by his wife to follow the counsel of the prophet (she gave this the morning after the devotional) convinced him that he needed to finish his education. So he’s now doing Independent Study courses to finish. I asked him how long he had to go and he laughed and said, Oh I haven’t a clue how long until I’m done. He said he has a sick wife to care for so he does the laundry, housework, and grocery shopping so he only takes 1 or 2 classes at a time. So he said he would go until he’s done if he lives that long.
I was impressed with his efforts to follow the prophet’s counsel to continue learning. Obviously at his age with his circumstances he could easily justify not having the time or energy to finish what he started. He may even be justified in his reasons for not finishing college in the first place. There are many reasons why he” shouldn’t feel” he has to finish, not to mention his age and his own health issues and yet here he is doing it on his own. Independent Study no less! It made me realize that there will always be plenty of excuses not to do something that the Lord has asked us to do perhaps through a prophet, church leader, or by personal revelation but by doing those things we will be blessed and we will be happy.
I’m sure that guy had no idea the inspiration he would bring by coming in to take a test but I couldn’t help but be grateful for his example today. Very inspiring and motivating! Just thought I would share.
